Benetton Treviso Tour 2026 🇮🇹
What an unforgettable experience for the Y9&10 rugby boys who headed to Italy on Friday. They begun the tour by heading to a fixture straight from airport @valsuganarugbyofficial.
On day 2 we trained with @tebius_09 at the superb Benetton facilities before watching @mogliano_veneto_rugby at home.
The boys were lucky enough to sightsee and have a guided tour of Venice before even more training, sightseeing in Treviso and fixtures with @villorbarugby and @rugby_paese_giovanili 👏🏻🔥
It was an action packed 5 days - The boys were a credit to Audenshaw School whilst representing us abroad and we hope that all our students have a wonderful Easter Break.
🇮🇹🏉
Thank you to @oddartsuk and @showracismtheredcard for attending Audenshaw on Friday and delivering a thought provoking performance and interactive workshop with year 9. #antiracism #pshe
After another great half term for Year 7 we had a very busy rewards assembly. These are just some of the boys that we rewarded. Here are our Zero Heros, highest achievement point earners and improved attendance.
Well done Year 7!
What a wonderful half term for Science 🧬🧪👨🔬 Some of our Year 11 students attended The Science Live! Event where they heard talks from various scientists including Professor Robert Winston and received some top tips for exam technique from an AQA chief examiner. Our Key stage three students have also enjoyed getting Curious for British science week. Check out some of their thought provoking questions 💭🧐
✨ Eid Mubarak to all of our students, families, and the wider community.
May this special time bring peace, happiness, and moments of togetherness with those you love.
We are proud to celebrate the diversity of our school community and wish everyone celebrating a joyful and blessed Eid.
From everyone at Audenshaw School 💙🌙
Well done to Owen H in Year 10 who won this weeks Maths Challenge 😊
Yesterday, the amazing Tony Walsh aka Longfella came into school to give a talk to our year 9 boys. During this talk, Tony performed three of his poems, told the pupils about growing up in Denton and about his first days here at Audenshaw School!
The talk/performance was followed by a workshop with Miss O`Donnell`s English class.Thank you to Tony for coming in, the feedback has been really positive. Two quotes from our boys below:
"I really enjoyed the assembly today...it helps that he is from round here!"
"I thought it was really inspirational, I enjoyed it, I wanted to hear more, but the bell went!"
Very short video to follow...

The Brian Bason U12 Rugby 7s. Hosted annually by Audenshaw School and for the first time, held at @aldwinians_rugby.
For what seems like the first time in 2026 we were blessed with blue skies and sunshine ☀️ to set the tone for a great day.
Our boys reached the Cup Semi Final having won group B with victories against Bolton, St Mary`s and Stonyhurst on the way. The eventual Cup winners, Lancaster RGS (pic 2), bettered the Audy boys in a tight semi. Congratulations to them on winning the 16 school, hotly contested, competition.
Congratulations also to Cheadle Hulme who won the Plate and well done to Calday Grange on a Bowl victory.
Thanks to @aldwinians_rugby for superb hospitality at the venue. There were plenty of smiles on the faces of those who opted for the double cheeseburgers on offer!
In two weeks time we do it all again with Y10 boys for the annual Dean Schofield 7s and hope it will equal the brilliance of the Y7 comp today. 🔴⚪🏉
