The 12th annual Audenshaw School Primary Cluster Indoor Athletics Competition took place on Thursday January 10th

The 12th annual Audenshaw School Primary Cluster Indoor Athletics Competition took place on Thursday January 10th with a record number of both schools and children taking part. Seven different primary partners were in attendance including our new friends from Broadbent Fold, now coached by former St Peter's Head of PE, Kevin Connaghan.

The students competed over 6 events including long jump, triple jump, basketball throw, sprinting, speed bounce and relay with their totals added up for their team score. In a closely fought contest, it was the favourites from Russell Scott who emerged victorious with a three point margin separating them from Broadbent Fold in second. Aldwyn took the bronze from Poplar Street who finished fourth.

It proved to be a brilliant event for all involved and we look forward to welcoming all of our schools back for the Primary Basketball Competition on Monday February 4th.
