The Audenshaw Sharks returned to action last Tuesday with a 70-50 success over Bolton School. Fresh from a successful weekend at the English Schools National Championships, the Sharks were in dominant form winning 22 out of the 24 races with some stunning performances throughout. Our nationals representatives, Kian Tevlin, Wunnai Tam and Alex Campbell all cruised to victory in their individual and relay races, each winning three from three and the swimmer of the night, Jolan Bennett won 8 out of 8 swimming as both a junior and senior boy. Harry Smith of year seven made his third appearance for the Sharks with a strong display in the breastroke and Harry Finn showed superb form in his race for the senior boys. Caden Bennett of year seven won all of his races and was especially impressive in the butterfly. Nathan Clare continued his unbeaten run winning all of his races, as did both Saul Inglis and Harrison Stopford. The boys head to The Grammar School at Leeds on Friday afternoon and will be looking to register a fourth successive win over the Yorkshire school in the annual meet.
